Scout remembers every great place your trusted friends love — and surfaces the right one when you need it. No app. No strangers' reviews. Just text.
Scout is a recommendation memory that lives in your text messages. Three things, that's it.
Text Scout naturally — "just had incredible pasta at Juniper in Little Italy, perfect for a date." Scout extracts everything and remembers it for you.
"Good Italian in Little Italy?" Scout surfaces the best answer from your history and your trusted connections — with their name attached.
Every recommendation your connections add makes Scout more useful for you. Real people, real experiences, real trust.
Scout is a closed, invite-only service. You join by knowing someone already on it. Messaging consent is explicit and opt-in by design.
An existing Scout user adds you directly by texting their Scout number with your name and phone number. You receive one introductory message from Scout explaining the service and how to opt out. By replying, you confirm enrollment.
Every Scout user has a personal code (like JOSH or GIA). If someone shares their code with you, text it to the Scout number. You're connected instantly and asked for your name. Initiating contact is your opt-in.
Scout sends only direct responses to your messages — recommendation replies, confirmations, and the occasional one-time re-engagement if you've gone quiet. No bulk messages. No marketing. No third-party promotions.
Reply STOP to immediately and permanently unsubscribe. You will receive no further messages. Reply START to re-subscribe. Reply HELP for assistance. These commands always work.
Your phone number is your identity in Scout. Your recommendations are private — visible only to you and the connections you've opted into. We never sell or share your data. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
